SCOUTING REPORT
Background: Dom, a product of the Mastic
Sports little league system started his career off as a sparkplug off the bench. However he quickly developed into a five
tool star. It was in this league that Dom's rivalry with Paul Taglienti started. Dom led his Mastic Master Baiters out of
the losers bracket with two consecutive wins over Paul's heavily favored Shirley Shitsquad to advance his team in the Little
League World Series. Dom's career would continue as he played in 8th, 9th and 11th grade for William Floyd. In 9th grade Dom
led the league in batting with an astounding .800 batting average nearly doubling the major league record and once again besting
his rival Paul who batted an abysmal .100. Despite the stats Paul slept his way to the top of the batting order leaving Dom
with less playing time. Dom also led the team in ERA once again proving hes versitility. After taking 10th grade off to pursue
a badmitton career Dom resumed playing baseball in 11th where he led all outfielders in batting average and slugged his way
to the team lead in dingers with 1. Despite consistantly dominating Dom was cut due to politics in 12th grade. After a two
year hiatus Dom played a few games in the Stan Musial league in 2002. His stint was highlighted by a game winning error (for
the other team) as Dom launched a throw from third base 30 feet over the first basemans head. Yes folks the kid has a cannon.
Strengths: Once again Dom is efficient, despite an 0
for 27 slump in 2003 Dom still managed to lead the team in balls batted with his helmet, and was second in stolen bases.
Weakness: Although Dom has been known to overthrow the
first baseman Dom usually throws the baseball like its a friggen hand grenade. Dom led the league in birds killed in 8th,
9th and 11th grade. Also last year controversy brewed as after Dom crushed two caught balls to a negro on steroids on
an opposing team, he suddenly found his stroke and starting smashing the ball. A few months later photos were found
linking Dom to Balco. One of these photos can be found in our photo section.
